Tunnel Filling Lines/ Bunker Filler

A Tunnel Filling Line is an essential system for transferring compost from yard or bunker storage into pasteurizing tunnels for further conditioning. The standard setup includes a hopper, conveyors, and a swivel, designed to automate and streamline the filling process.

In operation, a JCB is used to load compost into the hopper, which then feeds the material into conveyors. The swivel evenly distributes the compost throughout the tunnel, ensuring a consistent application. Using a filling line instead of a front loader not only improves aeration during the filling process but also guarantees uniform density, which is critical for proper aeration during the compost conditioning phase.

The height of the compost inside the tunnel can be manually or hydraulically adjusted for optimal filling. Additionally, we offer cassette-type tunnel fillers for specific applications.
